We had a lovely time on the site and in the area. Such a beautiful town. Staff were very helpful and provided some additional advice on what to see and where to go. Cheese market on a Friday a must!
Services were all clean and tidy. Be great if they had a few more hot water taps outside for dish cleaning to reduce the build up of
Queueing.

People were helpful on arrival. Tidy green place, we had a nice private pitch. Quiet campsite and easy to get to the historic centre of Alkmaar. Would stay there again.
Brilliant place. We were pitched right by the little beach, which the kids loved! Beautifully clean and kept. I'm sure we will be back in the future
This is a city camping, so it's more of a camperplace than a camping site. The usual set up with campers all being very close to each other, no privacy as there is no vegetation or anything between the campers. I guess OK for a night if you want to see Alkmaar (it's very close by bicycle to the city center, though the cycle hire close by is extremely expensive at 13 euro for a day - better get a bike at the railway station if you have a OV chipcard). Sanitary facilities are all good and clean.
A large camping park in a lovely treed setting, and quiet. It is well maintained and presented, and the amenities are modern and very clean. Showers are on a 5 minute timer, but there is plenty of hot water. There are two service stations …
I found myself well in this campsite, beautiful, clean, quiet, convenient for everything. I'm not giving 5 stars only because they asked me 2 euro supplement to enter an hour before check-in :( ... Surprising

Spent a couple of nights here when WHU were in town, nice site, very quiet and peaceful- good location and facilities. |Would recommend to anyone in the area or visiting the town.|Good for cyclists and stop overs. No shop or food available at the site.|Camping area restriction to 20 places
Nice sanitaries. Alkmaar is a beautiful city. We walked to the coast through the nature reservat.
